Hi again,

now I found the problem.
You have to set the permission for
“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc.\VMware VDM\Agent\Configuration”

to “READ” for “everyone” or for corresponding UserGroup.

It’s abnormal that the registry read failed. Could you please let me know the following key permission?
“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc.\VMware VDM\Agent\Configuration\Broker”
You can get the permission by opening registry editor (regedit command), navigate to the key/value, then click menu “Edit->Permission…”, see what permission is configured for the user that requesting the remote assistance? By default for this key Users (group) should have Read permission.
