Hi,
first of all many thanks for this UI!
I’m experiencing this issue with some vms.
FreeBSD vms (a pfsense 225 + a standard 10.2, open-vm-tools installed on both). They work until I try to change some settings (ex: switch cdrom on/off). I don’t get any console errors, but VM enters in a inconsistent state and vmtools are reported to be off: no ram, disk, etc counters.
ESX UI displays this message on my browser:
“This virtual machine is in an unknown state. Power cycling the VM or restarting the hostd agent on the ESXi host may help.”
I reproduced this error on Vmware HW compatibility: 5.5 and 6.0.
I checked vms status from console:
vim-cmd vmsvc/getallvms
10 TestVMTest [ds1] TestVMTest/TestVMTest.vmx freebsd64Guest vmx-11
9 FW0 [ds1] FW0/FW0.vmx freebsd64Guest vmx-11
vim-cmd vmsvc/get.guestheartbeatStatus 9
green
vim-cmd vmsvc/get.guestheartbeatStatus 10
gray
Both vms are running.
My current setup is:
esx-ui 0.0.2-0.1.3172496
6.0.0 (Build 3029758)
