Thanks for pointing this out! All the built-in templates are not modifiable. You need to first save the template as your own, by clicking the “Save As” button to the right bottom.
Second, when modifying the data, you also need to confirm the modification by clicking the “Update” button, so the xml in the text area to the right will be updated. (Hmm, probably we need to make this step automated!).
Finally when you are fine with the template, save the template. When the new template is saved, you will be able to list that template in the optimization panel.
