We deploy most of the time very small virtual environments, without vCenter so we could only use the old (but good working client). But this client requires installation, and versions management.
Our solutions are most of the time installed on USB or SD devices; what I like to know is if this host client does a lot write actions to the ESXi configuration(installation) storage device?
I didn’t find to many problems with the host client, deploying a OVF template (PCNS_4.1_OVF10.ova) didn’t work. The interface doesn’t show any reaction, and datastore doesn’t show any new folders (so used the tick client).
